Europe will not be able to replace Russian gas with expensive US gas, Hungarian PM says Victor Orban as reported by the Russian agency Sputnik.
According to Orban, “it is not possible to calculate the volume of LNG transport by ocean, so there is no alternative to the supply of natural gas to Hungary.”
“It is not that we can put on sweaters at night and reduce the heating a little, but for the fact that if there are no Russian energy sources from Russia, then there will be no energy in Hungary at all,” he said.
It is noted that Orban has close relations with Vladimir Putin, having been accused of looking forward to a totalitarian Russian-style regime in Hungary.
