For the first time, Palestine will send a representative to the World Beauty Competition Miss World. Nadeen Ayoub, 27, will be the first Palestinian to go to the competition to take place on November 21 in Bangkok, Thailand.

As CNN reports, in a statement, the Miss World Organization (MUO) said it was “happy to confirm” Ayub’s participation. “The Miss World Organization welcomes proud representatives from every corner of the globe, celebrating the diversity, cultural exchange and empowerment of women” noted in the announcement.

“Ms Ayub, a renowned activist and model from Palestine, embodies the durability and determination that characterize our platform.” added.

Ayub will be on the stage of the 74th Miss World final with contestants from more than 130 countries and regions. “We look forward to welcoming Mrs Ayub on the stage of Miss World, where she will proudly represent Palestine, next to contestants from every corner of the world,” The organization noted.

Miss Palestine’s post: I carry the voice of a people who refuses to be silenced

The 27 -year -old Ayub was crowned Miss Palestine in 2022, according to the news media based in Abu Dhabi.

In a post on Instagram on Thursday, the model said she wanted to be the voice of the Palestinian people.

“I have the honor to announce that, for the first time, Palestine will be represented in the Miss World Competition,” He wrote in the caption.

“As Palestine is experiencing sadness – especially in Gaza – I carry the voice of a people who refuse to silence. I represent every Palestinian woman and child whose power must be known by the world. “Ayub added. “We are more than our pain – we are durability, hope and the pulse of a homeland that continues to live through us.”
