Earlier yesterday, in the northwestern part of the country, eight people were killed and eight were injured in a drone attack on a police helicopter.

A police officer told the French agency that the perpetrators of the attack “harassed” a group of people assigned the destruction of coca crops. They also attacked a drone in one of the helicopters they transported, so it crashed.

On social networking sites there is a visual material that depicts helicopter to fly before a click and its fall.

Initially, police attributed the attack on the Clan Del Golfo cartel, the largest armed organization operating in Colombia. But Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez corrected this information later.
