The European Council of Ministers of Defense of the EU in Copenhagen was completed. At a press conference that followed, EU foreign policy spokesman Kaya Calas referred to the three issues – Ukraine, European Defense and EU missions – giving the guidelines decided by ministers.

In the second issue, on European defense, Mrs Calas said that a road map would be created with a clear timetable. “Today, ministers discussed ways to fill the most urgent gaps. Finally, regarding the EU missions, she explained the importance and new orientation of these missions that are “vital to global security” as she stressed, saying that “ministers discussed ways for these missions to better support EU geopolitical interests”.
