US President Donald Trump said today that he may order the development of nationalist and members of the Federal Migration Service (ICE) in New Orleans with the aim of combating crime, as he had recently done in Washington.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said his government is considering whether he will develop forces in Chicago or somewhere else “… like New Orleans”.

“Possibly in Louisiana, where New Orleans has a crime problem,” the US president said, adding that “we will settle it in about two weeks.”

He also said that crime in Baltimore is “at a level that no one has seen before” and that he will consider the development of military force there if requested. “If we intervene in Baltimore, we can settle it (the problem of crime) very soon, also … I think we wait until we are asked,” Trump said.

After Los Angeles and Washington, the Republican president threatens to develop ICE National Guard and agents in several major cities controlled by the Democrats, citing the need to combat crime although local officials report that they have fallen.
