Russian Lt. Gen. Mikhail Mizinchev says foreign nationals will be able to leave Mariupol and travel to Berdyansk, while those in Berdyansk will be able to leave the area either by land to the Crimea or through the Ukrainian-controlled areas, the Russian news agency TASS reported.

The Russian lieutenant general called on the Ukrainian leadership to guarantee the safety of the corridors.

The German Agency notes that the foreign nationals in question are mainly members of cargo ship crews that have been stranded in both ports since its inception. of war.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Verestsuk said that the work for the evacuation of people with the help of the Red Cross from Mariupol will continue today and buses will try to reach the besieged city.

“Seven buses will try to approach Mariupol, accompanied by the International Committee of the Red Cross,” Verestsuk said in a statement posted on the Internet.

A total of 17 buses will be ready to evacuate people from Mariupol and Berdyansk, he added.
