His army Israel announced today that more than 250,000 people have left her city Gauze and have moved to other areas of the Palestinian enclave after the intensification of land and air Israeli military operations in recent weeks.

For its part, the Gaza Strip Civil Protection Service spoke of five Palestinian dead from dawn due to Israeli bombings, the day after the deaths of at least 50 people in the Palestinian enclave, based on the same source.

“According to the army’s estimates, more than a quarter of a million in residents of the city of Gaza have abandoned it for their own safety,” Israeli Army spokesman Avihai Andrai wrote in X.

The UN estimates that about one million Palestinians live in and around the city of Gaza, the largest urban center of the enclave.

The aim of the Israeli army is to control the city of Gaza, which Israeli officials present as one of Hamas’ last strongholds.

Today, Israeli forces threw leaflets in the city with which they asked the inhabitants of the Western districts to abandon them. At the same time, Civil Protection announced that Israeli air bombings are ongoing.

“The army acts with power in your field and is determined to dismantle and defeat Hamas,” the leaflets wrote. “For your own safety get away immediately via Al Rashid Street to the south. We have warned you,” they added.

The Israeli Armed Forces have destroyed in recent days many high -rise residential buildings in the city of Gaza, with the army declaring that “it will exacerbate the pace of targeted wounds (…) in order to destroy Hamas’s terrorist infrastructure (…) and limit the threat”.

Many humanitarian organizations estimate that this new Palestinian displacement to the southern part of the Gaza Strip is impossible and dangerous.
