The six monarchies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (CCG), which met in Doha, today called on the United States to “use their influence” to stop Israel after the Israeli attack on Hamas leaders in Qatar.

The Gulf Cooperation Council is Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.
At the same time, the US Foreign Ministry announced that Marco Rubio will express a visit to Qatar’s support for Washington’s domination of the Gulf country after the Israeli attack on Hamas leaders there.
“Minister Rubio will reiterate the full support of the United States in Qatar’s security and sovereignty after the Israeli attack on Doha,” State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said, according to a statement, while Rubio.
Axios US news website citing Israeli officials today reported that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had informed US President Donald Trump that Israel was planning to attack Hamas’ leaders in Qatar.
The White House said it was notified only after the rockets had already launched, without giving Trump the opportunity to oppose the attack. However, the White House knew earlier, even if the timetable to stop the attack would be limited, the Axios website quoted, citing seven Israeli officials.
