by

Ukrainian prosecutors investigating possible war crimes committed by Russia have identified 410 bodies in cities around Kyiv and 140 of them were examined, Attorney General Irina Venediktova announced, speaking today Sunday on public television.

On Saturday, Venediktova said Ukraine’s military prosecutor’s office would “collect and maintain evidence of Russian aggression, maintain law and order, and ensure that the rights of the military are respected.”

Prosecutors are searching for witnesses among locals and are gathering evidence, photos and videos.

In Bouka alone, about 300 people were buried in mass graves, according to Ukrainian authorities.

The mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko, who went to the city today, said the exact number of victims is not yet known. “We believe more than 300 were killed,” he said.

Zelensky outbreak

Outburst of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky about the Russian atrocities in Bukha near Kyiv. “Mothers of Russian soldiers, look what you grew up with,” he told the Telegram.

The President of Ukraine first blames the West for the non-accession of Ukraine to North Atlantic Alliance in 2008.

“Bucharest, Declaration of the NATO Summit. April 3 14 years ago. There was an opportunity to prevent (ie the invasion), so that Russia would not come. Bouka, Kiev region. Now. “Russia has come,” said the Ukrainian president.

Kremlin: “Provocations” and “staged show” the corpses in Bouka

For “provocations” and “staged show” in the city of Bouka Moscow is talking, denying that Russian forces killed civilians in the Ukrainian city. A statement from Russia’s Defense Ministry said, “The videos and photos of the corpses are” another provocation. “

Towards new sanctions in Russia

The West today blamed Russian military forces for the committing atrocities in the Kiev region, after the statement of the mayor of Bukha that 300 residents of the city, were killed during the Russian occupation that lasted for a month.

The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said in an interview with CNN today that the images of the large number of dead Ukrainians in the city of Bukha, after the withdrawal of Russian military forces “are a punch in the stomach.”

He condemned the Russian atrocities in the Ukrainian city of Bukhara near Kyiv on Sunday and Berlin announcing new sanctions against Moscow.

Numerous reports of Russian atrocities against civilians have surfaced in Bukhara, including a report by Ukrainian officials that the city was forced to bury 280 people in mass graves.

Warsaw: Help Ukraine

For his part, the Polish Foreign Minister called on the international community to help Ukraine to investigate the actions of the Russian army in the area around Kyiv, as the outcry intensifies after the discovery of dozens of bodies in the city of Bouka.

“The liberation of the Kiev region reveals the barbaric atrocities committed by the Russian armed forces,” Zbignyu Rau said in a Twitter post. Rau is chairing the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe this year.

“I urge the OSCE member states and the international community to assist Ukraine in properly investigating these crimes,” he added.

Earlier in the day, Ukraine’s foreign ministry accused Russian forces of carrying out a “massacre” in Bukhara, and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said the images of the dead were a “punch in the stomach”.
