Heavy bombings and advance to Sheikh Radvan for Israeli army. Residents and eyewitnesses report that dozens Israeli tanks and military vehicles entered a large residential area of Gaza cityon the second day of the land attack aimed at occupation of the zone.

Video shows chariots, bulldozers and armor moving to Sheikh Radvan in northern Gaza, while dense smoke covers the sky from artillery shots.
The district, which before the war hosted tens of thousands of residents, is considered one of the most densely populated in the city.

Mass displacements and fear between residents

The invasion was followed by a wave of heavy aircraft on buildings and main roads in the area. Saad Hamanta, a resident who left with his family, told the BBC: “The drones left nothing – they hit solar panels, generators, water tanks, and even the Internet network.”
The advance has caused a new wave of displacements, with thousands of families heading south. Long tails of cars and carts loaded with existing ones were formed on the Salahendin road, opened by the Israeli army. The trip, residents say, can last for hours and cost hundreds of sekel due to lack of transport and price ejector.
The presence of tanks on the streets of Gaza caused panic, awakening memories of previous businesses that resulted in entire neighborhoods.

International reactions and deterioration of the humanitarian crisis

Israel states that the aim of the business is to release Hamas hostages and exterminate up to 3,000 fighters in the “last fort position” of the organization. However, over 20 major humanitarian organizations, including Save the Children and Oxfam, condemned the attack, referring to a “inhumane situation in Gaza”.
According to the Hamas health ministry, at least 65,062 people have been killed by the beginning of the war, almost half women and children. Only in the last 24 hours, 98 dead and 385 injured were recorded by an Israeli fire, while four more people died of starvation.

The UN warns that the escalation of the land attack will lead the civilians to “even deeper disaster”. On Tuesday, the UN Research Committee accused Israel of genocide against the Palestinians – a category that the Israeli Foreign Minister rejected as “distorted and false”.
