Hamas has not received any US President Donald Trump’s truce plan in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Islamist movement said today while Israeli forces are expanding their attack on the city of Gaza.

Citing sources, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz said earlier today that Hamas had first agreed to release all Israeli hostages who hold hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in return and the gradual departure of Israeli troops on the basis of his plan.

The plan also includes the end of Hamas’ domination in the Gaza Strip and Israel’s agreement not to annex the Palestinian enclave and not to expel the Palestinians living there, the Haaretz report said.

“There has been no plan in Hamas,” Hamas official told Reuters, who asked not to be named.

Yesterday, Trump said he was close to an agreement to end the war in Gaza and the return of the hostages.

“It seems we have an agreement on Gaza. I believe it is an agreement that will bring hostages behind, it will be an agreement that will end the war, “Trump told reporters. The US president did not go into details.

Israel has not yet given any public response to that statement.

Trump is expected to meet Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

US president’s expert envoy Steve Whitkov said the White House tenant presented proposals last week to leaders of many Muslim countries, proposals that include a 21 -point Middle East peace plan, aimed at the end of the Middle East.

At least 51 people were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip by Saturday morning, 27 of them in the city of Gaza, a Palestinian news agency reported earlier today.
