Israel’s war with Hamas has caused extensive catastrophes throughout Gaza, as the smell of death and hunger dominates the area.

More than 67,000 people, most of whom have been killed, at the same time that Palestinians are struggling for their survival under constant bombardment, mass displacements and the spread of diseases, CNN notes.

In September, an independent UN survey concluded for the first time that Israel had committed genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza, a finding that reflects the conclusions of other genocide and human rights experts – which is being rejected.

According to the UN, by July, Israeli attacks have left accessible and intact only 1.5% of arable land, largely preventing Palestinians from having access to food.

The number of people who died of malnutrition in Gaza has increased sharply after the ban on the entry of humanitarian aid from Israel for 11 weeks in March. Help still enters the area in much smaller quantities than before the start of the war.
