Ankara’s General Public Prosecutor’s Office is calling on the Turkish Ministry of Interior for the launch of a prosecutor’s prosecution against the mayor of the Turkish capital, Mansour Yavas, who belongs to the Republican People’s Party (CHP) of the Opposition Opposition, for accusations.

On September 23, with the order of the General Prosecutor’s Office ‘Ankara’ prosecution was prosecuted to 14 executives of the Metropolitan Municipality of the Turkish capital. Five are in custody with the category of financial irregularities in 32 concerts organized by the Municipality from 2021-2024. The prosecutor’s investigation against the Mayor of Yavas is about the same case.

Following the arrest of the Mayor of Constantinople on March 19, they have been arrested on the charge of corruption and removed from their posts, 17 mayors of the CHP in Turkey, of which 11 in regional municipalities submitted to the Metropolitan Municipality of Constantinople.
