The bodies of two other hostages, Inbar Haiman and Mohammad al-Atras, which were handed over last night by Hamas, were identified by Israel today.

Inbar Hyman, a graffiti artist known by the nickname “Pink”, was 27 years old when she was killed at the Nova music festival in the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.

Her body was flown to Gaza, along with that of Sergeant Mohammad al-Atras, a 39-year-old Bedouin soldier, who was killed during the fighting on October 7.

19 hostages remain in Gaza

With the latest delivery and identification, only 9 remains – out of 28 in the Gaza Strip – have been repatriated in Israel.

The bodies of another 19 hostages remain buried under the rubble in the Palestinian enclave, with a serious chance they will never be recovered.

OR Hamas announced that he had honored the agreement and handed over to Israel all prisoners alive, as well as the bodies “we had access to”.

“As for the remaining bodies, their recovery and retrieval will require great efforts and special equipment,” the organization said, stressing “that we are making great efforts to close this issue.”

Donald Trump’s peace plan required Hamas to return all hostages, living and dead, by a 72-hour deadline that ended on Monday.

“The terrorist organization Hamas must respect its commitments to the mediators and return (all dead hostages) as part of the implementation of the agreement. We will not make any compromises,” Netanyahu stressed.

Israel: “Hamas has access to more corpses than it claims”

Meanwhile, according to Axios, Israel informed US officials that Hamas is not making enough efforts for the recovery of the bodies of the dead Israeli hostages, adding that the Gaza deal cannot proceed until this situation changes.

Israeli intelligence claims that Hamas has access to more corpses from what he claims.

Israeli officials acknowledge that one small number of bodies will be difficult to locate, but they claim that between 15 and 20 could be returned quickly.
