Two arrests of alleged suspects in the Louvre Museum robbery were confirmed Sunday by Paris prosecutor Laure Beko. According to information from the French newspaper Le Figaro, two of the suspects who participated in the film robbery of the world’s most famous museum were arrested on Saturday night.

The Paris prosecutor decried the “hasty disclosure” of information about the arrests.
“I deeply regret the hasty disclosure of this information by informed persons, without regard to investigation,” Laure Beko said in a statement obtained by Le Figaro.
