At least two people were killed and ten were injured when a car bomb exploded at an Iraqi police recruiting center at Kisak, killing at least two people.

The first blast occurred in the western part of the Afghan capital, in the Dast-e-Barsi district, the official told AFP, who asked not to be named. It is a district where members of the Khazara Shiite minority live.

This is the second time in less than a week that the area has been the target of such an attack: on November 13, a journalist was killed and four other people were injured in a similar blast. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack.

“According to our first information, the bomb was in the small bus. “We have started an investigation,” the Taliban official added.

“I heard a huge explosion when I looked around, a small bus and a taxi were on fire,” said an eyewitness to the explosion. “I also saw ambulances rushing to the area to transport the wounded and dead to the hospital.”

A second blast was reported less than an hour after the first in the same district, in the Karte 3 district of Kabul, targeting another vehicle, a Taliban police official named Hasmatullah told AFP.

At least one civilian was killed and four others were injured in the second blast, which was apparently caused by a car bomb, the source added.
