“Careful” in his words Macron – Did not use the word “genocide” like Biden

by

The French president Emanuel Macron did not repeat today the term “genocide” used by US counterpart Joe Biden to accuse Russian President Vladimir Putin of Ukraine, questioning the usefulness of a “verbal escalation” in ending the war.

Asked by France 2 television about the remarks made yesterday, Tuesday, by the outgoing French president, Joe Biden, who is seeking re-election, he replied that he wants to be “careful with the conditions”.

“I would say that Russia has unilaterally declared a brutal war, that it is now proven that war crimes were committed by the Russian army and that we must now find those responsible for them,” he explained.

“What is happening is madness, it is an unbearable brutality (…) but I am looking at the facts at the same time and I want to try my best to be able to stop this war and rebuild peace, so I am not sure that the verbal escalation serves the case “, he added.

THE Joe Biden accused Vladimir Putin for the first time of committing “Genocide” in Ukrainea word used until now by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but never by the US government.
