The police at Miami arrested a 41-year-old woman for the death of her two children, aged 3 and 5 years. Repeated calls to 911 (America’s emergency telephone) had been made earlier from her apartment where the dead children were found tied up.
“Come and get them, I do not want them anymore”reportedly said Odette Lysse Joassaint to police officers found at the scene Tuesday night, according to the arrest report. It seemed absurd, police said.

Police entered the apartment and found a 3-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. The children were lying in a prone position on the bed with their arms, legs and neck tied, according to the police report.
PIO is on scene at 131 NE 75 St where officers responded to calls from a female who seemed to be in a crisis. They tried to bring the children back to life until a Miami Fire Department crew arrived and pronounced them dead. The woman has been charged with two murders.

Police have not said how many calls were made to 911 or whether they spoke to anyone while so far no other details about the incident have been made public.
