At least 152 Palestinians were injured in the clashes which broke out with the Israeli police in Mosque Square in Jerusalemannounced the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Violent incidents erupted on the Temple Mount – as the Square of the Mosques is called in the tradition of Judaism -, near Al Aqsa Mosquethe third holiest site of Islam, after the morning prayer.
The Mosque Square is located in the Old City, in East Jerusalem, the Palestinian sector, occupied by Israel since the 1967 Six Day War. The domain is often converted to theater of clashes between Israeli police and Palestinian protesters.
The police announced that Palestinians start throwing stones and flares at its forceswhile he estimated in 100 their riots among 12,000 believers.
According to the same source, the forces of order entered the Square to “disperse and repel (the crowd) and allow the rest of the faithful to leave safely,” he added, noting that three of their members were injured.
