French elections: What the French people voted for in the overseas possessions

The Belgian newspaper La Libre and the Belgian network LN24 publish the first results of the French elections from overseas (Dom Tom).

Marin Lepen won 69.60% of the vote (92,106 votes) against 30.40% (40,229 votes) of Emanuel Macron in Guadeloupe. The participation rate is 47.18%.

In MartiniqueMarin Lepen has 60.87%, against 39.13% of Emanuel Macron and a percentage of 45.45%.

In Guyana, Marin Lepen reaches 60.70% (21,734 votes), against 39.30% (14,073 votes) of Emmanuel Macron. The participation rate is 38.89%.

Emanuel Macron leads the French Polynesia, with 51.81% of the votes (42,880 votes) with Marin Lepen reaching 48.19% (39,890 votes). The abstention rate is 57.75%. There are also 2.70% blank and 2.05% invalid.

At the same time, the two Belgian media report that other polling stations have already completed the counting of votes.

This is especially true in many countries in North and South America, where French expatriates voted on Saturday.
