New images of shame from Hagia Sophia saw the light of publicity in the aftermath of the “normal damage”, according to the Turkish authorities, at the Imperial Gate.
In two photos, the faithful appear to give up where they find their shoes to pray, even hanging them on the walls!
The issue was raised by the Municipality of Istanbul itself, and specifically the person in charge of the Municipality for the protection of the historical heritage of the City, Machir Polat.
