by

Its vice president Gazprombank Igor Valabuev announced that he had left Russia and enlisted in the Kiev militia. He made the remarks in an interview with The Insider.

Valabuev said he could no longer be in Russia: “As for my nationality, I am Ukrainian, I was born in Akhtyrka, I could no longer watch from afar what Russia is doing in my homeland… I came with a gun in my hand to defend my homeland…” he says Valabugev in his interview.

“My visit is like repentance, I want to get rid of my Russian past. “I want to stay in Ukraine until victory.”

Gazprombank’s vice-president says his father lived in a dark basement for a month, calling Russia’s war in Ukraine an “international crime.”

Valabujev also states that he worked for Gazprombank for more than six years, while 16 years ago he was a partner of Gazprom “of which nine years I was in fact the head of the press service”.

Valabuev expressed his opinion on the death of former Gazprombank vice-president Vladislav Avayev. “I do not know what he was doing, I had never met him and I had never heard of him before. I also know that at the time of his alleged suicide he was active first vice-president of Gazprombank. I do not think he would have killed his wife and daughter, I think that was directed. Why; It’s hard to say. “Maybe he knew something and it was a danger.”

Former CEO of the Russian gas company Novatec Sergei Protosenia was found dead in Spain on April 21., his wife Natalia and their 18-year-old daughter.
