About 100 civilians drove away from Azofstal on Sunday but on Monday the evacuation did not continue. In the meantime the situation inside the factory is gloomy, as they have drastically reduce water and food supplies.
“I can not tell you for sure how many days we still have (supplies) but I assure you that we save a lot of water, food and especially ammunition.”said Palamar. He added that the military forces share what they have with the civilians.
“If the worst happens and we run out of food, we will hit birds and do whatever it takes to endure,” he said.
The same refuted Moscow’s allegations that the Russian soldiers are on the outskirts of the factory and are proceeding step by step with a clearing operation.
“Right now the whole area of ​​the factory is under our control and our defense is all around the perimeter of the Azov steel plant, we are holding a defense,” he added.
