Nick Cave’s son, Jethro Lazenby, has died at the age of 30, according to the Daily Mail, the musician himself announced today.
“With great sadness, I can confirm that my son, Jethro, has passed away,” Cave said.
“We would be grateful if you could show discretion,” he added.
The death of the actor and model, son of the iconic musician, comes less than seven years after his other son, Arthur, was killed at the age of 15 falling from a cliff in Brighton.

Jethro was born in Melbourne in 1991 and learned that Cave was his eight-year-old father.
She was a model and in the past had tried her luck in acting, with roles in “Corroboree” in 2007 and “My Little Princess” in 2011. She had recently worked as a photographer.
Last month, he was jailed on charges of assaulting his mother, Bo Lazenby, in Melbourne, Australia.
According to local media reports, Bo found him dead at the front door. Reports add that the next morning, they had an argument, during which Jethro attacked his mother.
His representatives in a trial that took place claimed that he had recently been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
