Guy Verhofstadt added that the Scandinavian countries should be included in the plans for European defense, and not only their membership in NATO. “The EU must defend itself as soon as possible, with Finland and Sweden (and hopefully Denmark soon) as key parts! ” mentioned features.
According to Erdogan, these countries are a “paradise” for terrorists – meaning the PKK. It is noted that in order for NATO to become a member of the two countries there must be unanimity.
