Serbia: Dozens of Belgrade schools evacuated following bomb warnings

An alarm has been sounded by Serbian police following repeated bomb warnings at primary and secondary schools in Belgrade.

As announced by the Ministry of Interior, as early as this morning in 97 schools in Belgrade received emails that warned of a bomb. The specific schools were evacuated and pyrotechnics took action. In all the cases that have been reported so far it has been proven that these are false warnings. Many schools, however, have suspended their operations for today, due to the large number of warnings, the authorities are unable to conduct research in a short time. The iconic Beogradjanka building in Belgrade, which houses businesses, as well as the “Megas Konstantinos” airport in the southern city of Nis, were also warned of a bomb. Serbia.

Dozens of schools in the Serbian capital received similar warnings on April 29, but all turned out to be false. Bomb warnings have been received several times in the last two months by the national airline “Air Serbia” for flights to Moscow.
