Panel SA: Supermarket price radar shows deflation of accelerated meat and yogurt

The price index in supermarkets monitored by Apas (industry association) in partnership with Fipe pointed to a slowdown among the most popular cuts of meat, but the impact of inflation is heavy in the 2021 scenario.

In the ace, deflation was 3.10% in October and, in the rump, 1.39%. Inflation for the year, in turn, was 9.32% and 11%, respectively.

According to data from Apas, the total meat basket accumulates high of 13.05% this year.

General inflation in supermarkets was 0.94% in October, with fresh products as an important focus of rising prices, while industrialized products signaled an index below September.

The category of yogurts, which inflated 2.50% in October and accumulates 22.86% in the year, worries.
