“The Management Committee of the Kaftanzogleio National Stadium, in relation to various posts concerning PAOK FC, informs about the following:
The Management Committee has many times expressed her absolutely positive will for the use of the Stadium by PAOK FC, for the hosting of A; group, for as long as needed to continue the works for the construction of Nea Toumpa.
Moreover, and because the Kaftanzogleio National Stadium is Legal Entity under Public Law, which is supervised by the General Secretariat of Sports and the Deputy Minister of Sports, Lefteris Avgenakis, is given the positive approach and from all the above involved bodies, to date development the whole process with PAOK FC.
Necessary condition, however, is the drafting of an Economic and Technical Study, by PAOK FC, as provided in the provisions of art. 6 of Law 4809/2021, where will be accurately described all required and suggested work and interventions at the stadium.
In the context of discussions that had preceded with PAOK FC, the Management Committee organized a working meeting with the director of technical projects and infrastructure of GGA, on 11.10.2021, for the technical data and specifications on which the required Economic and Technical Study will be based, on which PAOK FC did not attend, for its own reasons and since then the issue remains at that stage.
It is perfectly understandable that this is one difficult task with many bureaucratic details as it will be implemented for the first time in our country, after the voting of a relevant article in law 4809/2021 last June.
The Management Committee of the National Kaftanzogleio Stadium remains, as always, prepared to to find the required solutions and expects the continuation of the discussions with PAOK FC, subject to the conditions legality and transparency.
