Anac (National Civil Aviation Agency) said this Monday (6) that the concession auction for the 7th round of airports, which includes the Congonhas terminal, in the capital of São Paulo, and 14 other assets, was scheduled for August 18. .
The autarchy earlier approved the drafts of the public notice and contracts for the round, according to a statement on its website. The TCU (Union Court of Auditors) had given the approval for the terms of the event last week.
The auction will take place at B3, in São Paulo, according to Anac.
The round will be divided into three blocks, with the largest being formed by the airports of Congonhas (SP), Campo Grande (MS), Corumbá (MS), Ponta Porã (MS), Santarém (PA), Marabá (PA), Carajás ( PA), Altamira (PA), Uberlândia (MG), Uberaba (MG) and Montes Claros (MG). The minimum bid is R$740.1 million and the estimated value of investments in the entire concession agreement is R$11.6 billion.
Another lot will be formed by the terminals of Belém (PA) and Macapá (AP), with a minimum contribution of R$ 56.9 million and investments estimated at R$ 1.9 billion.
A third batch, called “general aviation”, will be integrated by the airports of Campo de Marte (SP) and Jacarepaguá (RJ). In this case, the minimum bid is R$141.4 million and the total projected investment amount is R$1.7 billion.
The concessions cover a total of 15.8% of domestic passengers handled in the Brazilian air transport market, Anac said.
The seventh round initially also contained the Santos Dumont airport, which was removed after complaints from the government of Rio de Janeiro. The terminal should be tendered next year along with the Galeão terminal, also in Rio de Janeiro.
