At The platform for electricity subsidy applications will open on June 16 up to 600 euros, as stated by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Theodros Skylalakistalking to ANT1although as he said “an effort is being made to operate on June 14”.
He added that the platform will remain open until the end of the month and the amount will be credited to the beneficiaries in early July.
In terms of increase in fuel pricescommented that “with oil there is a lot of pressure on households. It will take a few more weeks in June to see if there is budgetary space for further support. We think the policy of getting money directly into people’s accounts is more effective because it ensures that people get it. It is not certain that 100% of the aid will reach the citizen, if there is support through third parties“, Noted Mr. Skylakakis.
In fact, he noted that he is impressed by the fact that most beneficiaries fuel pass choose to have the money credited to their account, albeit less, “despite the larger amount on the mobile phone”.
However, the Deputy Minister of Finance appeared modest optimistic that there will be an extension of support measures against accuracy, based on the announcement of ELSTAT for the growth rate, which as he said “was above expectations. “We had forecast growth of 3.1% for the whole year and we had 7% in the first quarter and given that tourism is doing well, we expect to confirm this in the coming weeks.”
