The union centrals meet on Tuesday (23) to send the government a manifesto against the new attempt to vote on the mini-labor reform.
The bill to relax rules such as hiring young people and low-income people was barred in the Senate, but the government wants to insist on the idea, arguing that it can favor informal workers.
The text reduced or removed obligations such as the payment of the FGTS.
The new manifesto, signed by CUT, Força Sindical, UGT, CSB, NCST, CTB and others, says that workers’ representatives will pressure congressmen and organize protests against the measure.
“It is yet another maneuver that insists on deepening Michel Temer’s reform. A reform that led Brazil to the crisis that they falsely say they are trying to solve: a record increase in unemployment and poverty,” says the document, which will be released this week.
