Due to the continuous flow of applications, the deadline for applications was extended until July 5.

Five days extension until July 5 was put into operation of the platform for the power pass due to the continuous flow of applications as stated by the government spokesman Giannis Economou.
However, in order not to submit the applications incorrectly or in order not to leave potential beneficiaries out of the “bridegroom” but also to avoid unpleasant surprises regarding the expected amount of the grant, the interested parties should know the following:
The Power pass is also eligible for those who submit this year for first time tax return. But in order to get their money they must first have made a tax return and then enter the platform, so they still have only 6 days at their disposal.
– In the case of students, the parent makes the declaration if he / she has declared the student as a protected member. However, if the lease is in the name of the student, then he must submit the application.
– If it has been declared in E1, the beneficiary is also someone who has been granted a property. The beneficiary is also the one who lives in a rented house (which he has declared as the main residence) and the bill comes in the name of the owner. On the other hand, someone who declares himself as a guest cannot apply.
– In cases where a property belongs to 50%, say, a couple, it does not matter who makes the application.
-Where there is a common clock, the money will be credited to the one whose VAT is indicated in the electricity bill. If this does not happen then the money will be distributed to those who use the common watch.
– If the electricity bill is in the name of the deceased then his heirs apply. However, for deaths between December 2021 and May 2022, no application can be submitted as it “Locks” the beneficiary’s VAT number in Taxisnet, and the heirs can not take it unless they have declared as the main residence, the house where the deceased lived.
The subsidy concerns only floating invoices, only household benefits for the main residence and electricity bills issued from 1/12/2021 until 31/5/2022. The money will be credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts by mid-July.
