THE Giannis Antetokounmpo stated indirectly but clearly that if the Bucks are not title contenders won’t stay in milwaukee forever.
“From day one, my goal is to be on the same team for 20+ years… But at the end of the day, my competitive spirit is above that. I want to win» said the 30-year-old ace speaking on SiriusXM NBA Radio.
“I am not satisfied to be in the comfort zone and to be somewhere where we are not competitive. It’s easy for me to say: “I’ve been here 13 years, the city loves me, I feel comfortable, I can drive to the stadium with my eyes closed, I know every corner of the stadium, I know how we play, I know everyone in the stadium.” But that’s the comfort zone. I try to get out of it, because that’s how I do better, and I push myself to be uncomfortable. I don’t want to be in my comfort zone“, he added.
