For the first time since April 2020, positive results in Covid-19 tests represented less than 10% of all rapid tests carried out in pharmacies, according to Abrafarma, an association that brings together large drugstore chains.
The percentage was registered in the week of November 8th to 14th. There were just over 10 thousand diagnoses of the disease.
Since they started providing the service, pharmacies have applied nearly 11.8 million rapid tests in the country, according to Abrafarma. Tests applied in pharmaceutical retail can evaluate antigens or antibodies.
