World TT Championships Finals: Perfect Debuto Angelakis in the institution, qualifying for the “32” with Slovakos Vang

Konstantinos Angelakis, along with the naturalized Slovako Vang Young, paid Sunday in the first round of the double men at the Saudi World Ping Championships Ali Alkadraui/Abdulaziz Boulaibi 32.

As in the latest European Championships of Individual Racing, the two defenders have shown that they have chemistry, that they combine well and will certainly chase with claims and further step. In the second round they will meet Chi Clarence/Tsua Josh from Singapore.

On Sunday they had stability in defense and great efficiency in the attack and it is also noteworthy that they excluded a set of 23 seats higher in the league’s seeding without losing a set.

Angelakis gave the Greek colors ideal to the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships FINALS 2025 after Panagiotis Gionis’ 4-0 set in the simple opposite to Vong and Saint from Malaysia. He had excellent psychology in his first ever appearance at the top institution, he had excitement and, of course, they also counted for the very good start at the University of Qatar’s sports band.

With Vang they are at number 56 in the double seeding. Ali Alkantraui and Abdulaziz Bu-Sulaibi, a right-handed combination with a left-handed athlete, was at No. 33. The Greek-based twin demanded basically defenses and lasting. He found them immediately and got the first set by difference.

In the second set, the Saudis raised their performance. They found themselves losing 9-5 and reduced to the point. There, Angelakis took a decisive forehand attack and later prevailed in the rally.

Then the two pairs went together until the middle of the third set. Our champion and his teammate re-completed the fixed defenses with forehand spin, made a small series and took advantage of it for the final 3-0 set (11-4, 11-8, 11-6).

In the ’32’ the degree of difficulty rises, as the following opponents, Chi Clarence/Tsua Josh, are number 16 in the race.
