BRB opens competition with 300 clerk vacancies

The BRB (Banco de Brasília) opened a public tender with 300 vacancies for clerks, which require a complete high school education. The salary offered is R$ 3,764.66.

Of the total, 150 positions are for immediate hiring and the others to form a reserve register.

Entries can be made from 8:00 am on August 17th until 10:00 pm on October 3rd, online only, at www.iades.com.br. The value is R$ 66.50. After registering, a ticket will be generated and the candidate can pay it at banks, lottery houses or at the Post Office.

The working day is six hours a day and 30 hours a week. The clerk’s duties include performing administrative and banking activities, serving clients and selling and advertising products and services.

The tests are scheduled to be applied on November 6, in the 26 states and the Federal District. There will be four hours of evaluation. The final result of the contest should be announced in February.

In addition to the salary, there are benefits such as PLR (Participation in Profits and Results) and the possibility of participating in a supplementary pension plan, recreational club, group life insurance and health plan. There are also meal and meal allowances and food basket, in addition to birth and day care allowances, extended maternity and paternity leave and educational benefits.

Vacancies for blacks and disabled people

20% of vacancies will be allocated to candidates with disabilities and blacks. Approved candidates will be called for admission procedures and medical examinations according to the order of classification in the competition.

To apply for the vacancies reserved for black people, you must declare yourself black or brown at the time of registration, according to the color or race criteria used by the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics).

These candidates compete on both lists: broad competition and quota. Before the approval of the final result of the contest, however, those approved by quotas will be summoned for the hetero-identification procedure in which only the candidate’s phenotype will be considered.

There will also be vacancies for candidates who are hyposufficient, that is, in a condition of poverty. The rule to participate, in this case, is that the monthly income per family member is less than one and a half minimum wage, which amounts to R$1,818 today. It is also necessary to have attended high school in a public school or to have received a scholarship in a private school.

The main requirements to participate in the contest are:

• Be a born or naturalized Brazilian, or a Portuguese citizen who has acquired equal rights
• Be at least 16 years of age on the date of hire
• Not be a public servant
• Not being on leave, even if unpaid, from public office or employment
• Not be retired by the INSS (National Social Security Institute) or retired public servant, with the exception of legal possibilities
• Do not work in other banks or finance companies
• Not having a job at the same time you need to work at BRB
