Failures in the Santander bank application generated a spike in complaints on the Downdetector website this Monday (25). The platform, which compiles crash alerts on pages and apps, had about 1,100 notifications from users in the early afternoon.
At 4:30 pm on Monday, the monitoring site recorded about 400 complaints. Problems accessing the bank’s app for individuals accounted for 73% of alerts. Internet banking failures, 20%.
“Since 10 am, nothing enters Santander. Neither app, nor internet banking,” said a bank customer on the platform.
When contacted, Santander did not respond until the text was published.
