Panel SA: USP opens hub to face new pandemics

by

USP opens this Wednesday (3) the Life Sciences Hub, which aims to become a hotbed of startups in the health area and develop and test technologies to help face future pandemics.

Led by USP and Ipen (Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research) and coordinated by Cietec (Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology), the space will occupy 20 thousand square meters on the Butantã campus, in São Paulo.

Cietec attributes the creation of the hub to a national articulation that involves institutes such as Emílio Ribas and Butantan, companies such as L’Oréal and Merck, in addition to the Government of São Paulo.
