Also, about a third of the OECD countries recorded double-digit inflation, while the biggest change occurred in Turkey (78.6%). Conversely, the lowest change was recorded in Japan (2.4%).

In the Eurozone, inflation rose to 8.6% from 8.1% in May. The impetus from the food sector was strong, but also from the energy sector.
