e-EFKA: The regulation of 72 installments is in force – Who is affected

The new regulation for the self-employed and self-employed affected by the pandemic came into force today, Thursday, December 2, 2021, which allows the settlement of debts to e-EFKA in up to 72 monthly installments.

According to an e-EFKA announcement, the regulation concerns debts created due to the measures to address the negative consequences of the coronavirus outbreak within the period February 2020 to June 2021, provided that they have become overdue and have been transmitted. at the Insurance Debt Collection Center (KEAO).

It is noted that the process of determining the debts for 767,645 non-employees for the period from 01.01.2020 to 30.09.2021 has been completed, whose inclusion in KEAO also started from 01.12.2021. According to the announcement, the debts of February-March-April-May 2020, which had been suspended, are not included in this regulation, as they are not considered overdue. The period of suspension of collection of these debts expires on 31/12/2021.

“The peculiarity of this regulation is that it is monitored independently, without being affected by the existence of current debts or the observance of other parallel regulations of the same debtor. For this reason, a separate special payment code has been created, which is connected exclusively with the specific regulation and should be used by the debtors for the payment of the installments “, points out the e-EFKA.

The application for inclusion in the regulation is submitted, until January 31, 2022, to the electronic services of KEAO. For debtors who may be excluded from the certification in the electronic services of KEAO, the application will be able to be submitted to the competent services of KEAO, by making an electronic appointment through the website of e-EFKA.
