Gorilla investment Fintech receives R$ 100 million investment

by

The Brazilian investment platform Gorila announced this Thursday (2) that it received a contribution of over R$ 100 million, from funds such as Ribbit, Apis Partners, Iporanga, monashees and 2TM.

Created in 2016, the company has an application in which the user can enter their investments or through integration with B3, the Brazilian Stock Exchange, to check the profitability and quotations of the applications, data that are automatically updated, even with applications in different banks and brokerages.

In addition to serving clients directly, Gorila also offers several of its services to the brokers themselves and to investment advisors.

According to fintech, a portion of the funds received will be applied in technology, product, employees and business growth — and in acquisitions. The company also plans to buy minority stakes in investment offices.

Recently, Gorila became a partner at Vita Investimentos, a consultancy, which provides advice to clients with more than R$1.5 billion in assets.

According to the president and founder of Gorila, Guilherme Assis, fintech’s goal is to double the portfolio of individual customers in 2022, to around 1 million, and to triple the number of offices, to 300.
