One of the largest producers and exporters of mangoes in the country, Agrodan plans to expand the planted area and diversify the destinations of its production, currently more focused on Europe.
At the height of this year’s harvest, the company opens its new packaging facility, in the São Francisco river valley, in Pernambuco.
With the capacity to pack 320 tons of mangoes per day, the project received investments of R$ 20 million and is part of the expansion plan, according to the company.
Currently, Agrodan produces the fruits in an area of more than 1,300 hectares.
