The fourth and penultimate batch of the 2022 Income Tax, which will be paid next Wednesday (31), will have a correction of 3.03% based on the economy’s interest rate, the Selic, which is at 13.75% per year. year.

The batch consultation is open this Wednesday (24). In all, 4.4 million will receive R$ 6 billion. There are 265.9 million for priority contributors: 7,885 elderly people over 80 years old, 60,575 between 60 and 79 years old, 5,514 with some physical or mental disability or serious illness and 25,854 taxpayers whose main source of income is teaching.

There were also 4.4 million non-priority taxpayers who delivered the declaration by May 30, 2022.

The consultation opens at 10 am, online only. It can be done through the e-CAC portal (Virtual Service Center of the Federal Revenue), or on the Federal Revenue website itself. It is also possible to consult the My Income Tax application for mobile or tablet.

In the e-CAC, it is necessary to inform the gov.br password. On the website, citizens enter their CPF, date of birth and other requested data.

3. On the next page, go to “Refund inquiry”
4. In “Steps to perform this service”, click on “Consult IRPF Refund”

6. Then information about your refund will appear.
7. If it is not in the batch yet, but the IR is without errors, the system will inform you that the declaration is “in the Federal Revenue database with the following situation: Processed – in refund queue”

1. Access the e-CAC Portal and go to “Entrar com gov.br”
2. On the next page, enter your CPF and click “Continue”
3. Then enter the password and go to “Login”
4. In “Featured Services”, go to “My Income Tax (Dirpf Statement)”
5. At the top of the next page should be written “Declaration in Refund Queue”
6. If the refund enters this batch, when the consultation starts there will be information that the payment has been released and will be made on the 31st

Revenue has already paid three batches of refund

So far, three refund lots have been paid, totaling R$18.9 billion to 12.9 million taxpayers. According to the Revenue, the order of payments is defined by the date of transmission of the declaration, respecting the priorities defined by law (elderly, taxpayers with serious illness or physical or mental disabilities and teachers).

The refund calendar has five lots. In the next one, taxpayers who delivered the IR on the last day and also who left the fine mesh of this year and previous years should be contemplated.

This year, the IRS received more than 36 million declarations. Not everyone is entitled to refund. There are taxpayers who had tax to pay. Of the approximately BRL 25 billion to be paid in restitution, BRL 7 billion is missing.
