The Bupa group, which is headquartered in the United Kingdom and controls the health plan operator Care Plus in Brazil, decided to open a network of private clinics in the country with a focus on aesthetics and dental and dermatology services.
The company plans to open nine clinics in São Paulo by the end of this year and another ten next year, when it intends to expand services to Rio de Janeiro. The initial cost of a dental consultation on the network will be R$ 180. Dermatological consultations will cost R$ 500.
