It was credited today to the bank accounts of the beneficiary farmers refund of Excise Tax (EFK) on diesel for agricultural use.
The return of the EFK to diesel became possible after the cooperation of the Ministry of AAT with the Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Ap. Vesyropoulos and the Governor of AADE, Mr. Giorgos Pitsilis, whose contribution was valuable.
It is reminded that beneficiaries are all farmers by their main profession – natural persons, who have been registered in the Register of Agricultural Holdings until July 15, 2022 and have submitted a Single Support Application for the years 2021 and 2022.
The amount to which each farmer is entitled was directly credited to his bank account, without submitting any supporting documents.
The total transfer amount to beneficiary accounts reaches 68 million euros.
The criteria that applied for the return of the EFC to the beneficiary farmers are based on the Official Gazette DEFKF A 1141582/Εξ2016/29.9.2016 of the Ministers of Finance and Rural Development and Food (Government Gazette B’3155/2016).
It is recalled that the amount of the refund is calculated based on the maximum quantities of oil consumption per farmer, depending on the acres and the type of crop or the livestock he owns, as determined by Gazette B 3155/2016. The amounts to be paid, following a government decision, are non-seizure and are not set off against refundable amounts owed to the State.
