Bolsonarista businessmen who usually speak out on social media commented on September 7, but without endorsing the statement that Bolsonaro is imbrochable.
Junior Durski, owner of the Madero and Jeronimo restaurant chains, shared a video of the Bolsonarista demonstration in Brasília and wrote “God bless our homeland”.
Gabriel Kanner, from the family that owns Riachuelo, published a message saying that the pillars that founded Brazil encompass joy, miscegenation and Christianity.
“We are going through an intellectual and cultural awakening in Brazil that I don’t see happening either in Europe or in the US. I am sure that we are forming a generation of great men and women who will have a lot to teach the world” , Kanner said on video.
Salim Mattar (Localiza), who held the position of secretary in the Bolsonaro government, said that in the bicentennial of Independence, the country is witnessing censorship, arbitrariness and restriction of freedom of expression.
“There are many people angry because today’s demonstrations were peaceful and orderly throughout the country. These same people are disappointed because they expected a coup or institutional rupture that would never happen. These same people want the country to be backwards with their leftist ideas”, wrote Mattar.
Winston Ling, known as the businessman who introduced Paulo Guedes to Bolsonaro in 2018, released videos and photos with images of Bolsonaro’s acts this Wednesday (7) and wrote that “the Brazilian people responded”.
