On April 13, 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, a man in the playpen at Palácio da Alvorada asked President Jair Bolsonaro if he had seen an interview by then Minister of Health, Luiz Henrique Mandetta, on TV Globo’s Fantástico. Immediately, Bolsonaro replied that he does not watch Globo.
The scene, recorded by the president’s assistants and which went viral on the networks, was previously agreed between the federal government and the Bolsonarista website Foco do Brasil, says publicist Roberto Viana. He says he received R$1,100 and that he was told to behave like a Bolsonaro supporter.
