After suffering a cyber attack that affected part of its systems at the beginning of the month, Golden Cross had its website hacked again this Tuesday (20).
“If you are a customer, your personal data is also on our server. Soon we will release the data to the public and all customers will have a link sent to their emails as a gift back to the school season,” read the message left at the address. health care provider.
The intruder also told Golden Cross to contact him. He said the company should ask the “IT guy” because he would know how to do it.
Sought by the SA Panel, Golden Cross says that the attack did not allow the hacker access “to the databases, and it is worth reiterating that, to date, there is no evidence of public exposure of personal data”.
