Registration for the INSS 2022 contest ends this Tuesday

Those interested in one of the thousand social security technician vacancies offered by the INSS (National Social Security Institute) in the 2022 contest have until 11:59 pm this Tuesday (4) to apply. The position requires high school education and has a salary of up to R$5,905.79 for a 40-hour week.

The deadline was extended after the site cebraspe.org.br went offline on Monday, which was the last day for entries. On Twitter, candidates reported concern about the possibility of missing the selection deadline.

The fee, in the amount of R$ 85, can be paid until the 21st of October. Candidates who meet the criteria can get free (click here for the rules).

Opportunities are distributed among the 97 executive managements of the institute located throughout the country (see here the vacancies by city). In São Paulo, there are 138 service stations, eight of them in the capital. The other chances are distributed among the municipalities of Greater São Paulo, Baixada Santista, the coast of São Paulo and the interior.

The places with the most number of posts in this selection in São Paulo are Santos, Jundiaí and Araraquara. Of the thousand vacancies offered, 708 are for wide competition, 90 for people with disabilities and 202 for blacks.

Hiring is scheduled for next year. Those who pass must have a high school certificate or technical course issued by an educational institution recognized by the MEC (Ministry of Education) with completion by the date of inauguration.

The tests are scheduled for November 27, with a duration of 3h30. There will be 50 questions about basic knowledge and 70 questions about specific knowledge. The competition will have two phases, both eliminatory, with test and course.

How to apply for an application fee waiver

The registration fee of R$ 85 is free of charge when the candidate registers for the contest online.

If the request is made because the worker is from a low-income family, he must choose the option “Exemption from fee – 1st possibility”. It will be necessary to inform the NIS (Social Identification Number) and mark the option stating that it meets the established conditions.

If the request for exemption occurs because you are a bone marrow donor, you must choose the option “Exemption from fee – 2nd possibility”. In this case, it will be necessary to send a certificate or medical report that proves the donation on the website cebraspe.org.br, which organizes the contest.

The document must be issued by a doctor from an entity recognized by the Ministry of Health, registered with the CRM (Regional Council of Medicine), proving that the candidate made a bone marrow donation, in addition to the date of donation.

Competition must be high

The Minister of Labor and Welfare, José Carlos Oliveira, said that the expectation is to reach 1.5 million registrations. Currently, the INSS has 14,500 social security technicians. The deficit of employees, however, is of 23 thousand, according to Fenasps (federation of the servers of the organ).

Compensation of up to BRL 5,905.79 corresponds to the base salary of BRL 712.61, plus bonuses such as GAE (Executive Activity Bonus), of BRL 1,140.18, and GDASS (Social Security Activity Performance Bonus) ), which can reach R$ 3,595, in addition to a food allowance of R$ 458.

What Does a Social Security Technician Do?

The social security technician has several functions, but the main one is serving the public. Other attributions are to advise hierarchical superiors in administrative processes, carry out activities related to the recognition of social security rights, rights linked to law 8,742/93 and others under the responsibility of the INSS.

It is also necessary to carry out activities of instruction, processing and handling of processes and documents, carry out studies, research and surveys of information, prepare drafts of public notices, contracts, agreements and other administrative and normative acts of the institute and evaluate administrative processes, offering subsidies to the management preventive aspects and decision-making.
