Covid tests in pharmacies remained below 2,000 positive diagnoses for the third week in a row, according to Abrafarma, an association that brings together large pharmaceutical retail companies.
Between the 19th and 25th of September, about 1,200 confirmations of the disease were recorded, a drop of 27% compared to the previous seven days.
According to Abrafarma, the number represents 7% of the more than 17 thousand visits made at drugstores. The level is the lowest since the implementation of tests in pharmacies, in April 2020.
The association projects a scenario with less than a thousand confirmed cases weekly still in October.
